Our Story
Eat More Dirt. Grow Your Own.
Nojo Farm was born from a simple conviction: ultra-processed foods are killing us, and the antidote is right beneath our feet. We practice silvopasturing — fruit trees, grazing animals, and forest exist together, the way ecosystems actually work. No monoculture. No defined orchards. Just living soil, open sky, and patience.
Nestled in Denmark, South Carolina, our farm is a working forest — fruit trees scattered across pasture, animals grazing beneath them, and quiet trails winding through it all. We believe food is medicine and that time spent among trees is time well spent. Every peach, every apple, every berry carries the vitality of the land that raised it.
Come walk the forest. Come taste the difference. Come home to the soil.

Shinrin-Yoku
Forest Bathing
Forest bathing — shinrin-yoku — is the practice of immersing yourself in the forest atmosphere. No phones. No goals. Just being present among the trees. Science confirms what our bodies already know: the forest heals.
Reduced Stress
Forest environments lower cortisol levels, reduce blood pressure, and calm the sympathetic nervous system.
Improved Immunity
Trees release phytoncides — antimicrobial compounds that boost natural killer cell activity in humans.
Better Mood
Time among trees reduces anxiety, depression, and mental fatigue while increasing feelings of awe and gratitude.
Deeper Connection
Shinrin-yoku restores our innate bond with the natural world — something modern life has severed.
Experience It Yourself
Walk our forest trails, sit beneath century oaks, and let the land work its medicine. Sessions range from guided walks to silent solo immersions.

Fruit Grown the Way Forests Grow
We don't do orchards. Silvopasturing means fruit trees, livestock, and forest thrive together — no rows, no monoculture, no shortcuts. Animals graze beneath the canopy, fertilizing naturally. The forest floor stays alive. The fruit tastes like it remembers something.
